1. Power System Faults
Fault 1: Unable to Power On (Power LED Off)
- Possible Causes:
- Faulty power cord or loose connection.
- Damaged power supply unit (PSU) or blown fuse.
- Defective battery or battery contact corrosion.
- Repair Solutions:
- Replace the power cord and ensure secure connections.
- Open the battery door, clean corroded contacts; replace damaged contacts or battery.
- Check the internal fuse; if blown, replace it and inspect for short circuits.
- If the above steps fail, replace the PSU.
Fault 2: Random Shutdown / Frequent Restarts
- Possible Causes:
- Overheating due to dust-clogged vents or faulty fan.
- Unstable power supply (faulty PSU or aging battery).
- Mainboard circuit short or damaged components.
- Repair Solutions:
- Clean air vents and internal dust; replace a faulty fan.
- Test the PSU output voltage; replace if unstable.
- Replace the battery if it fails to hold charge.
- Inspect the mainboard for short circuits or damaged components; repair or replace the mainboard.
2. Display & Touchscreen Faults
Fault 1: Blank Screen (Power LED On)
- Possible Causes:
- Loose or damaged display cable.
- Faulty backlight inverter or LCD panel.
- Mainboard display interface circuit failure.
- Repair Solutions:
- Reconnect the display cable; replace if damaged.
- Test and replace the backlight inverter or LCD panel.
- Inspect the mainboard display interface; repair or replace the mainboard.
Fault 2: Touchscreen Unresponsive / Inaccurate
- Possible Causes:
- Dirty touchscreen surface.
- Need for touch calibration.
- Loose touch cable or damaged touchscreen (Model: MicroTouch J510.410).
- Repair Solutions:
- Clean the screen with a mild detergent.
- Enter service mode (Password: 1345 or 4630) to calibrate the touchscreen.
- Reconnect the touch cable; replace the touchscreen if damaged.
3. Parameter Measurement Faults
Fault 1: ECG INOP / No ECG Waveform
- Possible Causes:
- Poor electrode contact or faulty ECG cable.
- ECG module hardware failure or software incompatibility.
- Mainboard signal processing circuit fault.
- Repair Solutions:
- Replace electrodes and ensure proper skin preparation; replace the ECG cable.
- Restart the monitor; update software if incompatible.
